InterWorks, LLC was founded in 1994 by Jim Kitchin, who has over 25 years experience in residential and commercial construction, including 18 years as a partner or owner of a construction services company. Debbie Kitchin joined the company in 1996 with a background in finance, marketing and economic analysis.

InterWorks, LLC is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association, Portland Chamber of Commerce, Oregon Remodelers Association, and the Central Eastside Industrial Council. Debbie Kitchin is a member of Commercial Real Estate Women-Portland and is on the board of directors. She is also on the Board of Directors for the Pacific Northwest Regional Economic Conference.
